Designed in 1963 by Jack Heuer as a loving tribute to the most dangerous motor race in the world – the Carrera Panamericana – the Carrera watch has always been associated with life on the road. The 41mm stainless steel case houses a Caliber 5 automatic movement system, as well as a 38-hour power reserve, all of which is protected behind scratch-resistant sapphire glass. A fixed stainless steel bezel holds the crystal in place.
The classic black dial is contrasted with rose gold hands and baton hour markers, all of which benefit from luminescent strips for use in low-light environments. Both day and date windows are situated at 3 o’clock and subtle minute markings run around the entire rim.
An understated stainless steel bracelet is designed for ultimate comfort and utilizes a deployment clasp for easy closure.
